my friend tara and i started a local, self-acclaimed tea tour, which you can read about on my previous blog. we’ve made three stops already and have been drinking delicious (well, sometimes) concoctions. check out our last stop (it was my favorite so far!) below.
tara picked out our next stop. she had heard about a new tea shop opening called tea and javas from the founders of alex and ani so we had to give it a try. you can read about the atmosphere and all that cool stuff over here on tara’s blog.
i got an iced version (never do that but it was SO hot that day) of their peppermint alfalfa tea. i’ve been staying away from caffeine as much as possible so this was my best option. i could absolutely taste the alfalfa which kind of weirded me out. the peppermint was nice and refreshing though. i would give this tea, and the cafe, a 7. it was a creative try (it was loose leaf brewed) and the spot made me feel like a hipster so i didn’t mind drinking my semi-random flavored tea.
we’ve already made it to our next stop which we will be sharing soon. stay tuned for a delicious look at an awesome alice and wonderland inspired tea and cupcake shop.
